What’s your favorite thing about being an honors student?:
My favorite thing about being an Honors Student is how we harbor a community of inclusion. It doesn't take much to be ambitious, but the Honors college is remarkable in how many different walks of life are represented by our student body.

What’s your favorite thing about Greensboro?:
It's rare that I travel off campus (we have almost everything you need!), but when I do, I really like downtown Greensboro. The buildings remind me of home, and there are some really great places to eat and shop.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?:
One of my professors told me about the glowworm caves in New Zealand, Waitomo in Maori, where the glowworms create a constellation of lights that simulates the night sky. I would love to visit New Zealand and experience the caves!

My advice for prospective Honors students is:
Always ask questions! If someone can't answer, ask them to direct you to someone who can. Honors students at UNC-Greensboro are so lucky to have the resources we do, but it's hard to know what kind of opportunities are available if you don't take the initiative.
