How did you know the Honors College was right for you?
I always like to challenge myself, and the Honors College seemed like the perfect way to do that. I knew immediately that I was in the right place when I entered my first Honors class and was immediately forced to think differently and expand the horizons of my mind.

What has been your favorite Honors experience so far?
My favorite Honors experience, weirdly enough, was studying for the final for my Honors class first semester. A couple of classmates and I formed a small group and studied for hours in the library. It was tough going over all the information we had learned, but there was a lot of laughter and camaraderie built in those hours.

What does "Honors" mean to you now that you are here at UNCG?
Now that I am a true UNCG student and no longer a stranger to the campus, Honors means home. I feel like I fit right in with my classmates and peers in the Honors college in a way that is stronger than my relationship with students outside of the Honors college. I have met the nicest people this past year, and strangers became friends almost instantly. I feel happy and safe, and am so excited for the years to come at both UNCG and in the Honors College.
