On February 10, 2025, the American Bar Association (ABA) Issued an unprecedented statement about the rule of law. It stated, “There is much that Americans disagree on, but all of us expect our government to follow the rule of law, protect due process and treat individuals in a way that we would treat others in our homes and workplaces.”‘ In this symposium, we will take up the ABA’s statement and assess the current state of the rule of law and due process in the United States and internationally.
