How did you know the Honors College was right for you?
During one of my first visits with the soccer team at UNCG, I talked to a couple of players who are in the Honors College. They talked about how it enriched their academic experience rather than add busy work to their plate. Once I spoke to them, I knew that I wanted to apply.

What has been your favorite Honors experience so far?
I love the discussion-based classes. My first Honors class was a medical ethics class called “Playing Doctor” with [Assistant Dean] Dr. Angela Bolte. We discussed really difficult topics and it challenged my thoughts every day. I enjoyed engaging in conversations with my peers, a theme that continued through all of the honors classes that I have taken.

What does “Honors” mean to you now that you are here at UNCG?
At UNCG, “Honors” is so much more than an extra accolade to put on your resume. It is about the experience. It is about embracing your curiosity and exploring new areas that interest you in a collaborative way.
