- Planning and working at UNCG Admissions events to promote the Honors College to prospective students
- Attending regular meetings and workshops about leadership skills with the Ambassadors Advisor
- Working closely with Honors College staff on recruitment and engagement initiatives
- Taking on leadership roles at various events throughout the year, including Honors Symposium, Honors Graduation, and the Spring Garden Party
Any freshman, sophomore or junior Global, International, or Disciplinary Honors student may apply to be an Honors Ambassador. Applications open in the spring for the following academic year.
If you are interested in becoming an Honors Ambassador or have questions, please email the Honors College.
Bronze Leadership Challenge: Honors College Cohort
The Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement (OLCE) offers a comprehensive Leadership Challenge Program that engages students over three series of workshops: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. In the first series, the Bronze series, students learn what leadership is and learn about their own leadership strengths and interests. Students who complete the series are recognized with a bronze medallion and a certificate at the end of the academic year. Once students have completed the Bronze series, they can pursue Silver and later Gold.
The Honors College regularly offers a cohort of students through the Bronze series. Be sure to read the Dragon Weekly newsletter for announcements. If you have questions, please email the Honors College.
