What’s your favorite thing about being an Honors student?:

The community. The Honors College has such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone I’ve met here has inspired me and helped me grow as a leader and scholar.

What’s your favorite thing about Greensboro?:

Greensboro has a little bit of everything for everyone. People from all different backgrounds have come together to make this place full of creativity and life. It’s not hard to find your tribe and do what you love, but there also many opportunities to try something new.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?:

I would love to go to New Zealand and experience the national parks. I’m also a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings so it would be fun to tour the sights where the movies were shot!

My advice for prospective Honors students is:

It’s important to be true to yourself and not be afraid to connect with others. Building relationships is crucial in the professional world and I’ve gained valuable insights from conversations with peers and professors outside of class. All in all, allow yourself to be guided by the things that inspire you.
