What’s your favorite thing about being an Honors student?:

The people really make it for me. From the amazing advisors to the professors and even the fellow students, I feel like everyone is such a supportive and thoughtful person.

What’s your favorite thing about Greensboro?:

I love the vibe. I come original from Monroe, New York and now Cary, North Carolina, both of which have this very “American suburbia” vibe. Greensboro feels more artistic, and that’s something I find pride and joy in.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?:

I would go to Ireland! I’m currently studying Gaelic as my fascination for Celtic mythology has grown! Also, they have really cool knitting designs and solid yarn that I would love to experiment with.

My advice for prospective Honors students is:

Take advantage of what you have. You never know what things are going to spiral into bigger, other things. Talking to a professor might lead you to a job at the Honors College; I know that’s what happened to me, hahaha!
