What’s your favorite thing about being an Honors student?:

My favorite aspect of being an Honors Ambassador is meeting with current and prospective honors students, and assisting in any way possible to help them achieve success. I truly enjoy hearing the thoughts of current honors students regarding the interesting courses they are taking, and their enjoyment of being a part of the Lloyd International Honors College.

What’s your favorite thing about Greensboro?:

I’d say my favorite aspect of Greensboro is how tranquil UNC Greensboro’s campus is with the amount of nature surrounding it. The idea of walking to class with my headphones on while passing all the greenery of campus is so satisfying. Additionally, I love the number of murals that can be found across Greensboro, interpreting the artist’s rationale behind their piece.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?:

If I were to select somewhere to travel, I would choose Mexico! Unfortunately, I have not been given the opportunity to visit my parents’ homes in Zacatecas or Michoacán, but I do hope to do so in the near future!

My advice for prospective Honors students is:

Be exploratory! The Lloyd International Honors College has a variety of different opportunities, such as through events and numerous courses, to meet with individuals of intersecting identities and explore new concepts! You will never stop learning something new, so I’d advise you to take advantage while you can!
