What’s your favorite thing about being an Honors student?

My favorite thing about being an Honors Student is the diverse community I have found through my time in Honors classes and as an Honors Ambassador. I come from a place where the community deeply lacked diversity and being in this community has been eye opening for me.

What’s your favorite thing about Greensboro?

My favorite thing about Greensboro is definitely the miles of interconnected greenway and hiking routes across the city.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

If I could travel anywhere, it would be the Oceanspray cranberry fields outside of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I feel like walking through the cranberry fields would be such a life changing experience.

My advice for prospective Honors students is….

My biggest piece of advice for prospective Honors students is to be present. Whatever that means to you, just be present. Being present in your communities, friend groups, family circles, classes, or whatever else. In my opinion, being present is one of the most impactful things someone can do to increase your quality of life.
