Sociology
Dr. Dan Huebner is the 2016-2017 Chancellor’s Resident Fellow in the Lloyd International Honors College and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at UNCG. Since earning his PhD at the University of Chicago in 2012, he has also taught at American University and Bowie State University. His published research examines the social processes through which professional and scientific knowledge is produced, as well as the history of the social sciences. In the Sociology Department he primarily teaches courses in classical and contemporary social theory and advises students on cultural, political, and historical topics of research.
