Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations
Lalenja Harrington is a poet and performer who explores the intersection of performance, activism, and education. A graduate of Princeton University, she holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations from UNC Greensboro, where she is an assistant professor. Dr. Harrington serves as the inaugural Honors Artist-in-Residence. Her vision for the Honors College is two-fold: to engage students in arts-based, critical qualitative research and community building in the classroom through course offerings, and to provide support to faculty interested in incorporating art, applied theatre or participatory research activities in their teaching practice.
